my work
I’ve written for publications including The Los Angeles Times, Los Angeles Magazine, Angeleno, Departures,Style.com, Elle.com, Entrepreneur, Antenna, Paper, Palm Springs Life, The Hollywood Reporter, Riviera, InStyle.com and Time Out Chicago. I do corporate writing for Gilt City and consult on digital content strategy for apparel brands including Anna Catherine.
I am also the co-founder and publisher of Style Section L.A., the coolest fashion, style, culture and shopping website around if I do say so myself.
I’ve produced photo shoots for Style Section L.A. and Entrepreneur, and styled the City of Newport Beach 2011 Visitor’s Guide (random, but true).
In February, 2011 I was chosen as one of 30 correspondents to cover WWDMagic, the massive Las Vegas apparel trade show, as part of the Teen Vogue Bloggers Lounge.
And In March, 2011 I assisted L.A. Times fashion editor Melissa Magsaysay with research on her upcoming book about Los Angeles style, which will be published by Harper Collins in May, 2012.
To satisfy my need to hear myself talk, I have spoken on fashion, tech, journalism and business panels for Afingo, Fashion Group International, WWDMagic, The California Market Center, FIDM, Independent Writers of Southern California and at Retail Camp 2011.
Last but not least, I am co-founder of Pretty Genius, a retail and wholesale vintage fashion business, that began accidentally in January, 2011. You can read more about it in the L.A. Times.
